EVERYONE (Preschool-5th grades)

Award Winning Authors/Illustrators Visit Bixby

On Friday, 1/27/12, Steve Jenkins and Robin Page presented their
creative techniques to grades K-5 and facilitated a collage art workshop with
grades 3-5.  Steve and Robin specialize in researching and making engaging,
beautiful non-fiction picture books using a unique collage technique. Steve's

Ways To Gift Bixby - Stock Donation 

There are many ways to gift Bixby with your time and treasure. One way is to
transfer stock.  To that end we have an account set up at: Charles Schwab,

information and a transfer can be made directly into Bixby's account.  Thanks you

Support Bixby Through Our Magazine Subscription/Renewal Fundraiser

The 2011 Magazine Sale/Renewal officially ended October 31st, however, you
can order year round. Last year this program grossed well over $2,000 – allowing
us to purchase many teacher requested books for the elementary and preschool
programs.  We have earmarked proceeds from this year’s sale to support the
special programs our children enjoy during the school year.  Each year talented
authors, artists, scientists or the ever-popular Perry Conway and his animals
come to visit Bixby and bring their skills to life right before our children’s eyes! 
You can help support these programs when you participate in this event.

To order, or renew, make your selections, fill in the form in the magazine packet,
and drop it off no later than October 31st.  Or renew online at
www.gaschoolstore.com, register, and use Bixby’s school ID 460022,  at any
time during the year.

ELEMENTARY (K-5th Grades)

Needed: Boys and Girls Pants or Sweatpants

Art projects get messy, there's mud in the soccer field, sometimes accidents
happen - you need a clean, dry pair of pants to change into, and you're not
in preschool anymore. HELP!

If you have extra pants in sizes 6-12 we could use them as we are plum out.
Somehow, kids don't leave their pants behind for the lost and found, underwear
yes, but pants, no. Weird, but true . . .

Drop them off with Cindy in the Front Office and thank you.
