The school year begins on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. It ends on Friday May 29, 2009.

Fri, Aug. 22: Teacher Planning Meeting, K-5 and Preschool Closed

Mon, Sept. 1: Labor Day

Mon, Nov. 10: Teacher Inservice, Preschool and K-5 Closed

Wed—Fri, Nov. 26—28: Thanksgiving Holiday

Fri, Dec. 19: Conference Preparation, K-5 closes at 12:30, Preschool open all day

Wed—Fri, Dec. 24—Jan. 2, ‘09: Winter Holiday

Thurs & Fri, Jan. 1-2: Last Two Days of Winter Holiday

Fri, Jan. 16: Teacher Planning Day, Preschool and K-5 Closed

Mon, Jan. 19: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Fri, Feb. 13: Conference Preparation, K-5 closes at 12:30, Preschool open all day

Mon, Feb. 16: Presidents’ Day

Mon, May 25: Memorial Day

Fri, July 3: Independence Day

There is no school in session (CHILD CARE ONLY) on:

Mon & Tues, Nov. 24 & 25, 2008

Mon & Tues, Dec. 22 & 23, 2009

Spring Vacation: Mar. 23—27, 2009

In the event Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) closes due to weather conditions, Bixby will also close.
