The school year begins on Monday, August 30, 2010 and ends on Friday, May 27, 2011.
Bixby School will be closed on the following dates:

Friday, August 20: Teacher Planning Day K - 5 and Preschool closed

Monday, September 6: Labor Day

Thursday, November 11: Teacher Inservice K - 5 and Preschool closed

Wednesday-Friday, Nov. 24-26: Thanksgiving Break

Thursday-Friday, Dec. 23 – Dec. 31: Winter Break

Monday, January 3: Teacher Conference Prep Day/Inservice
K - 5 closed, Preschool open regular hours

Monday, January 17: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Friday, February 18: Teacher Conference Prep Day/Inservice
K-5 closed, Preschool open regular hours

Monday, February 21: Presidents’ Day

Friday, April 29: Portfolio Prep Day K-5 and Preschool closes @12:30 pm

Monday, May 30: Memorial Day

Monday, July 4: Independence Day

There is no school in session (CHILD CARE ONLY) on:

Monday – Tuesday, November 22 - 23, 2010
Monday – Wednesday, December 20 - 22, 2010
Spring Break: March 21 - 25, 2011

In the event Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) closes due to weather conditions, Bixby will also close.
