Teaching Experience – Licensed Physical Education Teacher
12 years of experience teaching in the United States, Vietnam, and South Korea

Hi. My name is Scott Stewart. My wife’s name is Neyda Moulier, she is a guidance counselor. Our dog’s name is Halla, he is a little monster. 🙂 We just recently moved back to the US after spending 10 years abroad working in both Vietnam and South Korea. I am a licensed Physical Education teacher who specializes in building and leading Experiential Learning (environmental and outdoor education) and Aquatics programs. As a Leave No Trace Master Educator, adventure guide, and naturalist, my mission is to foster a connection to nature in my students. As a certified Water Safety Instructor, my number one goal is to teach kids how to be safe around all types of water, whether it’s a swimming pool, pond, water park, or ocean, my students learn how to be safe and comfortable in the water.

That all being said, my goal as an educator is to help my students explore the natural world around them through a lens of their choosing, whether it’s snorkeling in the ocean, rappelling off a cliff or simply sitting under a tree and reading a book. I love to go rock climbing, pack rafting, biking, and hiking in my free time. I have been privileged to travel the world, learn about different cultures, and teach kids of all ages and backgrounds and I am honored to bring my experiences here to Bixby.
